A fast-paced daily puzzle: take a seed word, then build a new word from each of its letters before the 60-second timer runs out. I designed and shipped it end to end, including game state, animations, daily puzzle generation and score sharing.

Where I’ve worked

1. 2021 – Present

   Software Developer & Lead Facilitator

   Dev Academy Aotearoa · Canterbury

   • Designed, built and maintained internal applications that streamline bootcamp operations, using React, Node.js, Express, SQLite, React Query and Tailwind.
   • Led development teams as product owner and team lead: planning sprints, assigning work and delivering project milestones.
   • Ran code reviews and mentored developers on clean, maintainable code, debugging and architecture.
   • Lectured on React, Express, Node, JavaScript, SQLite and testing.

2. 2016 – 2020

   ESL Teacher

   EF Language School · Auckland

   • Taught English as a second language to adult learners from pre-intermediate to advanced.
   • Planned and delivered daily classes and workshops, which built the communication, presentation and facilitation skills I use every day as a lead.

3. 2004 – Present

   Music Producer & DJ

   Pippin

   • Independent producer and performer with international releases and live shows.
   • Managed releases from concept to delivery, collaborating with artists, brands and event organisers to tight deadlines.
